New ownership, new opportunities for AmphoChem AB

Gothenburg February 16th 2021: KRAHN Chemie, a family-owned chemical distribution company with a history spanning over 100 years, has acquired a majority stake in Amphochem AB. It is another exciting chapter in the development of AmphoChem, the leading Nordic distributor of industrial chemicals, additives and specialty chemicals, further enhancing skill-sets and market knowledge for the benefit of its customers and suppliers.
In order to bundle the new activities, a new company, KRAHN Nordics AB, has been established with Chatarina Schneider, former AmphoChem CEO now appointed Managing Director of KRAHN Nordics AB.
Chatarina Schneider explains: “The values of KRAHN Chemie as a family-owned, medium-sized company fit very well with those of AmphoChem and the exchange of skills and know-how that will take place between KRAHN Chemie and the new company will also be of benefit to the key producers in our industries.”
